Clearing invasives
We offer land owners the opportunity to have invasive alien species removed from their ecosystems, thereby improving local plant life and removing water hungry alien species from their land in water scarce South Africa.

We pride ourselves on targeting the "Mesquite" group of species, all form the genus Prosopis. Originating from the deserts of Mexico and Central America, these species thrive in our semi arid South African climate and have been known to be a problematic weed in several provinces since as early as the 1980's.
Mesquite - Hardwood Firewood at its finest
Mesquite wood is well known as an excellent quality Hardwood, with its high density it burns cleaner and has less spluttering than other lighter woods.
And Bonus...its not a protected of native species, so no worries about destroying our beautiful local plant-life.
After a long burn time of between 1hr15min and 1hr45min it shows its exceptional coaling properties and adds excellent flavor to food when grilled or used for smoking.
These same properties make it excellent as a heating fuel or as the flame that puts the char on your next pizza crust.

All our wood is dried to less than 15% moisture and is treated to ensure no infestation by any creepy crawlies.

We aim to do this by saving them both the funds to clear these weeds from otherwise fertile lands, and by literally "burning away" the invasive species choking up water courses through the sale of quality firewood.
We donate a portion of all revenue to help farmers in Drought stricken parts of the Northern Cape Province of South Africa.
